Earlier in the year we released robotic puzzle game Chip on Steam. With one free update came an additional 5 levels and new mechanics. It’s been a busy year for us, with 3 other titles in development, but we’re not going to let Chip rust, with more updates and playable platforms (tablets & phones) in the foreseeable future.
SuperGlad is a sidescrolling adventure game in which our protagonists, best friends Ruby and Lloyd, go on a progressively surreal journey through Ruby’s dream world.
This week we sit down with artist & animator Fran, to introduce you to the roots of SuperGlad and the direction we are taking it’s development.
We’ve been taking Shu with us all around the country, most recently we displayed a demo at Gamecity in Nottingham, before that we were in lively London at EGX!
Shu’s creators, Secret Lunch, are collaborating with us at Coatsink to bring the hand-drawn platformer to multiple Playstation platforms (announced via a Sony Blog) and PC.

We recognize the importance of communicating with other developers as we learn and grow as a team. Sharing information is a great way to reach out to other like-minded developers and give fans of our games an insight into what goes on behind the sequinned red curtain that is the door to our office (we kid, it’s not red, sequined or indeed a curtain, it is but a modest door).

We’re back on cold home soil after a busy weekend in London at EGX. We had a fantastic time, from rubbing shoulders with talented developers, cosplayers and gamers alike to trying out new games and most importantly, sharing Shu with the public.
Last week we attended VRTGO in Newcastle, the first VR conference in Europe! It was a great day all-round, with a variety of thought provoking talks, VR games to demo and plenty of interesting, talented people to meet.
We had the pleasure of revealing our in-development title – Esper to the VRTGO public and now we are delighted to be able to share it with with you!
