As you know, we made it back from EGX Rezzed in one piece! Not like we wanted to though (leave that is), we had the best time. We agreed collectively that it was the most enjoyable event we have attended in some time!
We’re back on home turf from our visit to London for EGX Rezzed. We had a blast! We took demos of Esper and SuperGlad along to the event and had a great time mingling with gamers, press and other developers.
It’s that time again. Mad preparations and excitement as we pack our bags and ready ourselves for the journey down to London to attend EGX Rezzed.
Esper is now available on the Samsung Gear VR store. Previously the game was only available in demo form, but now you can experience Esper in it’s telekinetic, puzzling entirety!
Every year Teesside University in Middlesbrough plays host to the Animex Festival. Professionals from all things gaming, movies and animation come together in a series of talks and workshops, while also having a great time networking with like-minded folk!
Last weekend we took part in the Global Game Jam. Our team stayed in a sleepy seaside cottage, as they worked together to create a game fitting the theme “what do we do now?”
We received some pretty great feedback to screenshots we posted up to Twitter, so we decided to put this development blog together to offer our insights into the process of contributing to the Global Game Jam!
Come on inside and read about how we came to form the game Vantage Point!
Last year we traveled all over the world attending game conventions, demoing our games, playing games and networking with other game developers.
We also got a game on to Steam for the first time, with Chip being our debut to the platform and we released our first VR title Esper onto the Gear VR store in demo form.
Come on inside and check out our plans for the coming year!
With a new year, brings a plethora of new games to look forwards to. We make games, so naturally, we love them!
Join us as we reminisce about the games we loved in the passing year and find out what games we are most looking forwards to in 2015.
Happy New Year! 2014 was certainly a busy and exciting year for us here at Coatsink. We traveled all over the world, grew in size as a team and released a game on to Steam for the first time.
Catch up with us and check out our 2014 in review!
Earlier in the year we released robotic puzzle game Chip on Steam. With one free update came an additional 5 levels and new mechanics. It’s been a busy year for us, with 3 other titles in development, but we’re not going to let Chip rust, with more updates and playable platforms (tablets & phones) in the foreseeable future.
