2D Marketing Artist

Coatsink is looking for a highly motivated and talented 2D Marketing Artist to join the growing Publishing team in Sunderland, UK.

As a 2D Marketing Artist at Coatsink, you will be responsible for all key 2D marketing assets for our titles including Key Art, Logos, Screenshots, Event Art and Store Art.

2D Marketing Artist


  • Collaborate with the wider teams to conceptualize and deliver key marketing assets including Key Art, Logos, Screenshots and Store Art.
  • Create and adjust pre-existing Event art to requirement
  • Generate comprehensive and coherent style guides for each project
  • Adjust and web-optimize assets for  websites, social media, promotions, and storefronts
  • Generate high-quality social media assets


  • Ability to work in or relocate to Sunderland, UK
  • 2+ years experience in the games / entertainment industry as a 2D marketing artist or similar
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Supremely confident with Adobe Photoshop
  • Confident in typography, color theory, and image composition
  • Understanding of current design trends
  • Understand and maintain the art style and brand of each title in assets created
  • Knowledge of best practice for optimizing assets for web
  • Strong project and time management skills across simultaneous projects, prioritizing accordingly
  • Excellent team skills
  • A creative mindset and a self-starter


  • Your work has been published as part of the key marketing assets for a game (or have equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work in vector via Adobe Illustrator or similar
  • Experience with Sketch or similar wireframing tools
  • Experience with InDesign or similar to generate style guides
  • Knowledge of requirements and limitations of design for real-world print
  • Experience with After Effects or similar software
  • Appreciation of 3D pipelines
