Junior Programmer Intern


Newcastle University Three Month Paid Internship


As a Junior Programmer Intern at Coatsink, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Programmer. You will be expected to work across a range of areas as needed.


  • Working with designers to implement gameplay functionality and features.
  • Working to strict timeframes for project deliveries.
  • Working with clients to iterate on feedback.
  • Working with in house and external testers to debug and fix bugs.
  • Maintaining coding standards and practices set by project leads.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2:1 Bachelor’s degree in Games Programming or equivalent.
  • Highly proficient in Unity and C#.
  • Good knowledge of shader programming.
  • Very strong maths skills.
  • Excellent team working skills.
  • Good communication skills and composure under pressure.

  • The successful candidate will aid development of a dedicated area of the game over their ten weeks.
