We’re looking for a


Programmers are responsible for implementing the core functionality of our games. Working very closely with Designers and other departments, they bring the collective vision of the project into reality. They are often generalists expected to work across a range of areas within the code base.

The Programmer will work closely with one or more senior programmers. They will code features, prototypes and game wide systems with frequent reviews from others. They will communicate effectively with Design, Art and other departments bringing requested features to a polished state. Programmers understand the language features of C# and know how to utilise them for system design or performance purposes.

Programmers generally focus on feature implementation but will be provided opportunities to specialise in areas they are particularly passionate about.

Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Implementing features and prototypes throughout the project’s development.
  • Bringing features to a polished release state.
  • Communicating effectively with other developers.
  • Reproducing and fixing gameplay bugs.
  • Attending meetings and stand-ups punctually.
  • Providing time estimates for fulfilling tasks.
  • Branching and merging source control.


Person Specification

Required Experience:

  • Graduate level or equivalent educational experience.
  • ⦁ 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Knowledge of a modern Game Engine.
    • Unity
    • Unreal
    • Godot
    • Etc.
  • Strong understanding of Mathematics.


Preferred / Desirable Experience of:

  • Previous experience in Unity.
  • 1+ shipped title.


Required personal skills and approach:

  • Ability to interact and communicate across all disciplines and with colleagues effectively.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
