We’re looking for a

SQL Programmer

Programmers are responsible for implementing the core functionality of our games. Collaborating closely with Designers and other departments, they bring the collective vision of the project into reality.
As an SQL Programmer, you will be responsible for extracting data and working with a Designer to organise the data into reports for analysis. You will work closely with the Design team and support the project Producer to relay this information to external clients.

Initially you will be working on a collection of multiplayer web-based games.

SQL Programmer

Activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with the project Designers to generate and refine analytics reports, initially for multiple web-based games
  • Collaborating with in house and external QA Testers to debug and fix errors/issues
  • Communicating effectively with other developers
  • Attending meetings and stand-ups punctually
  • Providing time estimates for fulfilling tasks and working to strict timeframes for project deliveries
  • Branching and merging source control
  • Maintaining coding standards and practices set by the project lead


Person Specification

Required Experience

  • Graduate level or equivalent educational experience.
  • 2+ years of industry experience.
  • Proficient SQL knowledge.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Proficient in C# programming.
  • Understanding of analytics and how to implement these into a web-based game.
  • Strong understanding of Mathematics.

Preferred/Desirable Experience of

  • Previous experience in Unity.
  • Experience in Firebase
  • Experience with BigQuery and Google Data Studio
  • Experience with JIRA for managing tasks
  • 1+ shipped title.
