The Last Hero of Nostalgaia Gets a Launch Date

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia has sparked a lot of interest, it’s been shown at a number of events throughout the year and across the globe with soulslike gamers of all skill levels attempting to beat the demo and posing for photos with The Hero themselves. It’s made you laugh, it’s made you question what exactly this game is and it’s smashed it with views on the IGN Youtube channel after the #AwesomeIndies showcase at Gamescom.

Created by Over the Moon Games (The Fall, The Fall Part 2: Unbound), The Last Hero of Nostalgaia is a love letter to soulslike titles and video games in general. Set in the world of video games that has fallen foul of a growing pixelation reverting everyone and everything back to low fidelity, you play as the hero, tasked with stopping the decay and saving the world. The trouble is, you’re the most low-res thing in Nostalgaia and the Narrator never misses an opportunity to remind you of that!

With *full character customization*, items and weapons to collect, easter eggs galore and a whole host of formidable enemies we know there’s something for everyone within the realm of Nostalgaia.

The Last Hero of Nostalgaia will be available to own on Steam and Xbox on 19 October 2022. 

We’ll be showcasing The Last Hero of Nostalgaia at EGX at the ExCel London between 22-25 September 2022, and we’d love to see you there while you test your skills against the perils of Nostalgaia in our playable demo. But don’t worry if you can’t see us in London, the demo is available on Steam NOW! Don’t worry, we didn’t forget our friends on Xbox. If you’re looking to play there, pre-orders will open from October 3!
